Effective Date: February 19, 2026 · Last Updated: February 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using iPosta ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

iPosta is a native macOS email client that connects to your existing Google (Gmail) and Microsoft (Outlook/Microsoft 365) email accounts. The Application allows you to read, compose, send, organize, and manage your emails.

iPosta is not an email service provider. You must have an existing email account with a supported provider (Google or Microsoft) to use the Application.

3. Account & Authentication

  • iPosta uses OAuth 2.0 to authenticate with Google and Microsoft. Your email passwords are never stored by iPosta.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email accounts and OAuth credentials.
  • You must comply with the terms of service of your email provider (Google, Microsoft) when using iPosta.

4. Privacy & Data

  • All email data is stored locally on your device. iPosta does not operate any servers and does not collect, transmit, or store your data remotely.
  • OAuth tokens are securely stored in the macOS Keychain.
  • iPosta does not include analytics, telemetry, or third-party tracking.
  • For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

  • iPosta and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by iPosta and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the Application.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use iPosta to send spam, phishing, or any unsolicited bulk messages.
  • Use iPosta to violate any applicable local, national, or international law.
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Application.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the Application.

7. Third-Party Services

iPosta interacts with third-party services (Google APIs, Microsoft Graph API) to provide email functionality. These services are governed by their own terms:

iPosta is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of these third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

iPosta is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Application

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iPosta and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or emails
  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Interruption of service
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Application

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or third parties.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
